OUR VISION
Growing Dreams,
One Berry at a Time
The Always a Berry Project is a twelve-year initiative. Beginning in May 2026 and building toward Logansport’s bicentennial celebration in May 2038, our goal is to transform “Home of the Berries” from a beloved school tradition into a defining symbol of Logansport, Cass County, and the greater Loganland community.

MEASURING OUR PROGRESS
OUR MISSION & PURPOSE
Tradition Put Into Action
MISSION
Expand the Berries identity across Loganland.
The mission of the Always a Berry Project is to expand the already well-known “Berries” nickname of LHS sports teams to Logansport and Cass County by making Loganland the Home of the Berries—real berries grown and harvested locally, sold locally, and eventually sold throughout the region.
PURPOSE
Grow dreams,
one berry at a time.
The purpose is to create opportunity through LHS education and skills training, city and county partnerships, product development, and successful expansion of the LoganBerries brand for lasting local benefit.
WHO BENEFITS?
A Vision That Grows Outward
HIGH SCHOOL Birthplace of the Initiative
Home of the Berries
Agricultural Home of the Brand
LOGANSPORT HIGH SCHOOL
LHS is the inner circle and birthplace of the initiative, leading berry education, research, development, cultivation, and sales. The vision is for LHS to become known not only for the Logan Berries in sports, but also as a world-class Logan Berry Academy.
LOGANSPORT
The city is the second circle, supporting expansion of the LoganBerries brand through business development, tourism, events, and community partnerships. Becoming the Home of the Berries creates a must-visit destination with meaningful economic impact.
CASS COUNTY
Cass County is the agricultural home of the brand. Only qualifying berries grown in Loganland would be certified as Logan Berries, giving the product regional specialty status and encouraging continued local production.
A VISION THAT SUSTAINS OUR COMMUNITY
Education, Opportunity, and Pride
EDUCATION BECOMES EXPERIENCE
Students move beyond the classroom into real-life skills: seeding, growing, harvesting, packaging, marketing, selling, customer service, and continual improvement. The result is a school-to-work pipeline that prepares graduates for meaningful local careers.
ECONOMIC & COMMUNITY GROWTH
Logansport and Cass County benefit through agriculture, new businesses, product derivatives, tourism, retail sales, events, employment, and broader regional recognition.
A SYMBOL FOR LOGANLAND
Pride in community is the foundation of local culture. By transforming a century-old Berries tradition into something grown, created, packaged, sold, and celebrated locally, the Home of the Berries can remain a defining symbol for another century.
THE DESTINATION
A Legacy in
Full Bloom
In May 2038, Logansport will celebrate the 200th anniversary of its official establishment. The vision is to reach that moment with the Always a Berry Project recognized as a lasting success—supported by education, agriculture, business, community pride, and a new generation ready to carry the LoganBerries tradition forward.
